Patient 217

Yuba City, California – This is a 28 year old male who presents with steroid induced gynecomastia and presents to the San Francisco office for gland excision and suction assisted lipectomy. He had steroid use three or four years ago in which he has had various cycles since about 2005. His weight increased from 170 to about 212 pounds. His goal is to have his chest more flat. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 212 pounds. His surgery was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Novato, California. He had 78 grams of breast tissue removed from his right chest and 52 grams of breast tissue removed from his left chest. In addition he had 550 cc. of fat and aspirate removed from his right chest and 600 cc. of fat and aspirate removed from his left chest. His post op course was uncomplicated except for a few steroid shots for scarring. His photographs are seen approximately 9 months after surgery.
