He developed adolescent gynecomastia that was compounded by a 45-pound weight loss. He had previous surgery, which included gland excision, and suction assisted lipectomy. He is an avid tennis player and very uncomfortable with his chest. His surgery was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. He developed a post-operative hematoma that was evacuated the following day. He was taken back to surgery and approximately 500 cc of blood was taken out from the left side. The patient did well post-operatively and healed well. His surgery was performed at Marin County Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin, California. His primary excision of tissue was 31 grams from his right and 28 grams from his left. He had liposuction of about 150 cc per side. Note that in spite of the post-operative complication of the hematoma he did very well post-operatively and a very satisfactory outcome.
